Structure

IE Business School's International MBA, lasting 13 months, does not require any specific prior experience in the areas covered as subjects are introduced progressively so as to accommodate students from varying academic backgrounds. IE Business School employs the case method, as well as other techniques in its training, providing hands-on experience in real life cases.

In total the International MBA covers over 900 hours of class work during which over 500 practical case studies are examined including multimedia practical cases, simulators, and interactive games. The schedule for the first four periods is from 09:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday. Three 80-minute sessions are held each day, plus an hour of scheduled teamwork. Students have a mid-morning, half-hour break and ten- minute breaks between classes.
